Would you ever want to kill a man when you’re 8?  Would you want to have the skill that kills people and serve as the king’s thug even if you’re his nephew or niece?  In this book Graceling, a girl named Katsa, who has the skill to kill anybody has met a boy named Po.  Po is just like Katsa. There is a lot of difference between the two because Katsa can not control her anger but    Po can and Po can mind-read but Katsa can only kill.  They are alike in many ways but since they are so alike they would dislike each other.

In the book Scat by Carl Hiaasen you would figure out the truth of the Black Vine swamp.

The power of persistence and love are vital elements to The Maze Runner by James Dashner. This novel is about Thomas, a teenager, who ended up with his memory lost in the middle of a maze, and other boys who devote their lives to finding a way out of the dangerous and risky maze. Even though they have been doing this for two years and they lost some other teens, they were always persistant of pursuing their destiny of solving the maze and living in the real world. They also had one thing that they didn't forget: love. They cared about getting everyone to the real world, but hated sacrificing people to get through the maze.

Bravery can lead to victory is one of the main themes of Leviathan. Leviathan is a book about two teenagers who live in an alternate World War 1 and work on an airship called the Leviathan. I thought the characters and plot were well developed.I thought it was very enthralling and I would recommend this book to anyone who likes adventure books.

"Yes. What you do, the way you think, makes you beautiful -David(264)” Tally started to realize that everyone was born "pretty" and no one needed to change by an operation. Tally started to realize it when she went on a mission as a spy, to betray her friends to become "pretty". After hearing about the stories and how the smoke came to be, she changes her mind and makes a big mistake. I love this book because it shows lessons about how to accept yourself for who you are. Also, the first chapter hooked me into reading it more and more and it keeps you thinking about what’s going to happen next.

Katsa was often used by Randa a king that makes her do his “dirty work” because of her talent to kill, but always disliked it.Now,she has decided that she has had enough of it and releases herself from his grip.

In the book  The House of the Scorpion, by Nancy Farmer, Matt lives with others' hatred. He has to live with people who hate him just because he's El Patron's clone. Nobody likes clones because it is by law that when a clone is born, their brain is to be destroyed, and they become disgusting and sloppy. But El Patron is so rich and powerful that he could break any law. He didn't destroy Matt's brain and now Matt lives in a miserable life.

The book Legend by Marie Lu is like a drug, it's highly addictive. You just can't put this book down until you’re completely done reading it. Marie Lu makes a great novel by creating two different characters that come together in the adventure filled with romance, action, secrets, and thrills that will have you jumping out of your seats.

Would you ride a horse miles and miles to keep yourself and others safe. Well that is what the young adult D’artagnan has to do in the book The Three Musketeers. D’artagnan is a young adult who wishes to join the three musketeers, but ends up getting involved in the queens business. I think the Three Musketeers is a good and interesting book and I would recommend it to lots of people big and small. If I could explain D’artagnan, I would explain him as a excellent and bright character.
